We aim to grow premium fruit

Maximize quality by growing only those varieties suited to our fairly harsh site i.e. late budburst to avoid late spring frosts.
Crop at two to three tons per acre, to ensure flavour intensity in the fruit.

Follow IPM practices, preferring to use “soft” chemical options where ever possible.

Be aware of the environmental flow on effects with various practices implemented in the running of the vineyard.

To maintain healthy, balanced vines, as they will produce premium fruit.

 

Our 10ha plantation of gums offsets all the carbon emissions we produce while growing and making the wine. The plantation was planted long before the issue of climate change became so important.
