Chardonnay 2008

Appearance: Straw in colour.

Nose: A full bodied white wine. Honey, citrus and peach on the nose .

Palate: Honey and citrus flavours predominate; a typical buttery mouth feel from the second ferment and a crisp finish. Hints of very subtle oak.

Alcohol  14.7%

 

Viognier 2008 (available in 350ml bottles only)

Appearance: Honey in colour.

Nose: A full bodied white with the typical Viogner floral nose. 

Palate: An intensely flavoured wine. Apricots on the palate. A crisp dry wine.

Alcohol  13.2%

 

White Shiraz 2008

Appearance: A pale rose.

Nose: White pepper , with citrus and tropical fruit flavours.

Palate: The predominant flavours of white pepper, lime and subtle oak in the background. A crisp acid finish. An easy drinking wine; best served slightly chilled.

Alcohol  14.3%

 

Pinot Noir 2007

Appearance: Cherry red

Nose: Earthy aroma’s with a predominance of cherry and hints of raspberry.

Palate: Well integrated oak with hints of spice, mint and cherry. A medium bodied Pinot.

Alcohol  13.%

 

Shiraz 2006 (sold out 2008 will be released shortly)

Appearance: Profound plum in colour.

Nose: A ripe nose of stewed plum and blackberry fruit with hints pepper. Maturation in both French and American oak contributes notes of vanilla and spice.

Palate: Sweet berry, stewed plum, cracked-pepper and sweet oak flavours carry right through from palate entry to the long, even finish.  Fresh acidity and supple, ripe tannins complete the palate and promise good potential for development in bottle over several years.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

Appearance: Rich cherry-red in colour.

Nose: Blackcurrant, cherry and plum aromas are supported by underlying cedar and complementary French oak.

Palate: Mid-weight, spicy currant fruit with a touch of licorice and fresh herbs.  Fine tannins and clean acidity frame an attractive, supple palate.

Alcohol 15%

 

Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2005

Appearance: Deep cherry-red in colour.

Nose: Blackcurrant, cherry and stewed-plum on the nose; supported by underlying cedar savory French oak.

Palate: Full bodied, spicy currant and stone fruit flavours with a touch of fresh herbs.  Fine tannins and clean acidity frame an attractive, supple palate.
